Health Plans From HealthAmerica
HealthAmerica's specialty is group health insurance plans for businesses, providing a range of options for various health and budget needs of employers and employees.
Their group HMO plan is one of the most affordable comprehensive health plans available. HealthAmerica's HMO features no deductible and no lifetime maximums. It also has low copayments for preventive care, such as doctor's check-ups, physicals, and immunizations. Members receive care from a large network of physicians, hospitals, and specialists.
HealthAmerica offers group PPO and POS plans through HealthAssurance. These plans give members more flexibility in their care. Unlike an HMO, PPO and POS plans provide coverage with any doctor or hospital - in or out of the preferred network.
HealthAssurance also offers consumer-directed options with FlexChoice. With a group high-deductible health plan, members can open a Health Savings Account, which gives them control over their health care dollars. For many routine health care expenses, members use funds from their tax-free Health Savings Account to direct money the care of choice.
