Interesting Trend: Former Auto Workers Move On To Health Care Industry in General Healthcare

Here's an interesting insurance fact from the Kaiser Network: a job in the health care industry is the most popular new career move for former auto manufacturing workers.

After many big names in the auto industry offered payouts to their employees after a downswing in the market, tens of thousands moved into the health care industry, reported the Wall Street Journal. The former auto workers are enrolling in nursing, radiology, dental hygiene, and pharmacology programs.

Health care professionals (especially nurses and primary care physicians) are in demand all around the country, so it seems to be a wise career move.
