Under the new law, a whopping 65 percent of COBRA health insurance premiums will be subsidized by the government.
That’s a huge chunk of the very expensive premiums, and could be a huge relief to millions who are recently unemployed.
In fact, according to the Boston Globe, around 7 million Americans will be helped by this provision.
